Yeah, I was actually not old enough to see Clerks in the theater. My brother and I got caught theater hopping. So we had to wait and watch it on video.
I think that since Kevin's movies affect different people in different ways, each person can get sucked into the VA universe through different flicks and for different reasons. Heck, I know a guy who wanted to start watching the rest of the Askew films after he watched Drawing Flies with me and he loved Jason Lee.
