I believe it was while he was casting for "Dogma."
Anyway, as I remember it, Reese got a part in "Overnight Delivery" that Joey Adams was up for and Joey, in turn, did "Chasing Amy," which, of course, was much better. So, at a party, Joey congratulated Reese on getting the part in "OD" and Reese out and out snubbed her.
Then, Kevin heard from someone on the set of "OD" that Reese was making fun of his writing to Paul Rudd when they were filming one of the scenes.
At least, that's how I remember the story.
