Wow.
If you have time to see one sentimental flick before Jersey Girl comes out, go see Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. I saw it this morning and got so emotional about it. Carrey delivers one of his finest performances here, and pretty much the entire cast is spot on as well.
See it with someone you love if you can.
It's the kind of film that makes you reevaluate things.
I've been told I live in the past a lot, which is true to an extent, and this movie allows one to embrace that. Hang onto memories - never forget even the bad times in a relationship, because undoubtedly the good memories will outweigh the bad in the end.
It also points out just how unethical doctors can be, which can be disturbing, but is something to take note of. I don't want to say too much here, but speaking as someone who's very close to someone who's needed brain surgery, it hit me pretty hard.
Oh yes - and Kate Winslet's never looked so good as she does in this.
