Well, it seems that the Junior executives over at New Line did in fact have the sperm. In early March, the franchises started talking, with quite a bit on the line: not just a co-starring role for Bruce Campbell's Deadite killer Ash in the next Freddy/Jason team-up, but a deal to put up the dough for the long-awaited sequel to Sam Raimi's "Army of Darkness."
