That's exactly one of the problems, critics are used to look at a movie with zynism in their minds and it's hard for a critic to admit: "Yes, I like this warm, kind movie for being emotional and sweet." no critic will ever write this as you can imagine...
But after all, critics are not everybody: Norah Jones makes unspectacular music, but it's sweet and emotional and people buy her stuff like mad. Why? Cause we need a bit warmth in these times, and I guess some of us will get it from Jersey Girl, handed down by god herself to the weirdest scriptwriter of all time - Kevin Smith, that shit is the mad words...
