But basically the point is there is a distinct charcter already established. He is not 20 years old and fights Lex Luthor, and wears green spandex. He also does not fight monsters. He goes after organized crime or villans that are at least plausable. I did not make up the charcter that was done by one of the producers father, George Trendle Sr. and he decided what the charcter was all about.
The Hornet will go outside the law only in order to see to it that the criminal is brought to justice. Remember he not only is an enemy of the criminal element but the law as well. The Police think he is an organized crime boss and that implied duplicity allowes him closer to the top criminal element where he can set them up for the police to bring to justice.
