While we do have a lot to thank science for, it is important not to just trust something just because someone calls it a "study" or "proves" it. I studied sociology at A-level, and it was fascinating to read how science could be manipulated. That's not to say that it is, but it just proves that there are manipulators- they can manipulate for good or bad.
