Seriously, though... (well, first off... one of the first things they tell you in art school is... "art is no longer made for the masses... it's made for a small group of 'in' folks who 'get it' so don't worry about everyone else. I shit you not, that's what they said.)
Secondly... more seriously though... the difference between someone just sticking a fork in a cow eye and the artist with fish in a blender is "intention", "communication" and clarity of those two. Those are what makes the difference between good art and bad art: What was the artist's statement? Did they get it across? And did they get it across successfully... Anyway... they teach you this shit in art school... but I quit, so I don't really know anything.
