Yeah that bugged me as well.... THEY ARE SONGWRITERS......Couldnt they have written something to rhyme with " screen door slam" , like......" the big yellow taxi left and changed all my plans".........
ANYTHING other then what they did.........
normally like Counting Crows. However, if a band is going to cover a song like Big Yellow Taxi, DON'T CHANGE THE FUCKING WORDS SO THAT IT NO LONGER RHYMES AT THE END!!!! Christ, pretend you are gay or something and leave the gender intact - or at least be creative and come up with something better than "took my old lady away!"
