That almost has to be deliberate on Nickelback's part... like Floyd and the Wizard of Oz or something. There's no fucking way that's possible without putting serious thought into it, whether you're playing cookie cutter, "verse, bridge, chorus, repeat" songs or not. Granted, I'm sure whoever mixed those two songs together altered tempos a bit, but regardless... the simultaneous breakdowns at about the 1:40 mark and consequent cliche "silence before the distortion kicks in" breakdowns at 2:25? Just fucking WOW. That is awe inspiring.
This MP3 has, in my eyes, made Nickelback is the most kickassingest band in the history of radio stations that have an 'X' in their callsign.
