Going to Prom with a date doesn't mean you'll have

I went with my boyfriend, who happened to be a year younger, so he felt uncomfortable around my friends. He ended up ditching me to hang out with another guy in the same boat as him and only came around me during the slow songs.

So I just danced with my friends all night and had a blast. My point is that the night was what you made of it. I could have sulked that my bf was being a poo-head, and that his suit made him look like a door-to-door salesman, but instead I just did what I could to have fun.

I'm sure Prom isn't for everyone, so as long as you had a good night doing what ever it was you did, on your "last night of high school", that's all that counts.
