The woods. Oh the parties in the woods.
I recall one really great time when we had to park in the flood area of a river, and walk through 5 inches of water to the party location.
All dolled up, some people were still wearing tuxes.
So we get to the fire, and start the party.
One of my then skater friends is sitting by the fire, no beer in hand. EVeryone is drinking like Coors Lite or something.
He opens his backback and removes a mug, packed in ice from his skate backpack. unzips another pouch and removes a bottle of Guiness, and pours himself a ice cold frothy mug of Guiness. Classy. Very classy. A skater, in the woods, in a zoot suit, sitting on a log, with a chilled mug of frothy stout. Perfect.
