Of course it's live, who said they taped it? Always has been always will be, it's in the title!
But the laughing during skits is pretty annoying, although it worked for the Debbie Downer skit..er sketch. It's just the way the show is going, it used to be some of the best comedians in north america, now it just seems like amateur hour.
