: For starters, even though I'm on the West Coast, I get East Coast cable. So it's 10:40 here right now, 1:40am EST. So I'm watching a couple episodes of South Park tonight (Michael Jackson and Time Immigrants) and then after they play the movie 'South Park: Bigger, Longer and Uncut.' Well, it is unedited. It was startling for the movie to start and "Uncle Fucker" to begin completely unbleeped. Is this unheard of? I can't imagine how they're getting away with having this hard, hard-R rated movie unedited on cable TV. Thoughts?
technically they can do it whenever they want. it's just that companies that pay them for the advertising time will stop paying them. when it gets this late at night, those companies tend to not care.
