Baby Dave, as he's known around these parts. Dave is one of the
original three (including Kevin and
Scott) who served time up at the Vancouver Film School. A native of
Idaho, this little potato-eater is a
master of light and shadows as our resident Director of Photgraphy.
You've seen his work in both 'Clerks'
and 'Mallrats' and their corresponding music videos - as well as some
commercials and other low-budg fair.
After we wrap 'Chasing Amy', Dave heads off to shoot a film for somebody
else (shudder!) - but he'll
return in July to lense Bry Johnson's 'Vulgar' for the View.
But Dave's also been known to thesp, now and again. You'll recognize him as both the Hunting Cap Smoker Boy (off tainted lung - "I'll just have the gum.") and the Navy S.E.A.L.S. freak in 'Clerks', as well as the Stan Lee freak - complete with tatooed head - in 'Mallrats'. In certain circles, he's also known as L.L. Cool D - as in 'Ladies Love Cool Dave' (not a trademark). Below, some pics of Dave at work and at play. |
