: Digital Projection, Inc. - a wholly owned subsidiary of Imax Corporation - today announced it will join with Lions Gate Entertainment to preview its latest movie, Kevin Smith's DOGMA, in an all-digital format.

: The screening will take place October 20 as part of a cinema industry trade show (ShowEast, Atlantic City, Trump Taj Mahal, Xanadu Theatre) and offer attendees a first-hand glimpse of the star-studded film projected digitally. DOGMA, starring Ben Affleck and Matt Damon, will be transferred from its native celluloid film format to HDTV, an ultra-high-resolution digital video format, and displayed electronically on the Xanadu theatre's 40-ft. screen via a Digital Projection POWER Display electronic projector.

: Yet to be released to mass market cinemas, "Dogma," "a raucously funny satire," received exceptional reviews at the Cannes, New York and Toronto film festivals.
