: Yeah, I suppose. But I guess it just bugs me that people think skinnyness is some sort of great thing.::
It's the culture we are in.
And it sometimes makes people seriously ill trying to attain a weight that is simply unnatural for their body.:::
Like Calista flockhart. She needs an IV of cookiedough, stat.
I think it's better to just be healthy at whatever weight your body wants to be at.::
You are your body. And being overweight has serious health issues(heart strain, muscle and bone strain, lack of energy, stretchmarks) so getting towards a healtheir bodyweight ratio(not just weight, bodyfat. Bodyfat is more imortant than weight. You can be 5'10 215 but if your bodyfat is 10%,your butter on a roll)
I wish Kevin (or anyone) didn't have to feel that he needs to lose weight.::
Weight loss also helps self image. maybe Kevin felt bad he thought he was chubby and now he feels good he's a slim pickens.
And congratulating him on his weight loss only reinforces the whole stigma of heavy=bad. You know what I mean?::
Not bad, unhealthy. If Skinny equaled good,Hitler was a vegetarian.
: I don't know. Personallt, it just pisses me off when people are disappointed in me because I'm not skinny.::
Then they are pricks and you don't need 'em,Turt. Being healthy is more important than being able to see your ribcage in the mirror. Those chicks creep me out. You want to take them out for steak and eggs.
