: Now, you might have argued, successfully, that I was being mean to Johny. And I was, since I thought he was making a point just for show. But Johnby can insult me back if he wants, it's an equal opportunity Board. My point remains correct: Director's Cut refers to the original cut desired by the director. And I'm with cnaughton37: I can't wait to see the Director's Cut DVD of Dogma with all the deleted scenes.

How do you figure I'm making the point just for show? I was just stating a fact, I think you've jumped the gun in starting wars. You said it yourself - "Director's Cut refers to the original cut desired by the director." Well, Kevin cut all of DOGMA and at this point in time the release version is obviously the cut he prefers, for whatever reason, because that's the one that is going out. You are probably basing this arguement on the assumption that DOGMA should run over 3 hours as per the original cut, right? Well, CHASING AMY originally ran something like 140 minutes but I'm sure that's definately not the cut Kevin prefers. Sorry, but you're just wrong. (And I'm also looking forward to seeing some extra footage on the DOGMA dvd (I don't think any actual scenes were flat-out cut). In fact, there were a few bits I wish I had seen when I saw the 2:16 version of DOGMA.)
