I too live in Springfield and if its not playing at UPTOWN, my next hope would be the new Hoyts 16 theatre off of Route 1 in Alexandria. The screens are rather big, the sound is always great and the seats are really comfortable! So keep your fingers crossed for at least that. With our luck though it will only show at Springfield Mall. (not a bad theatre, just not a great one).
: I was curious as to where the Premiere screening was in this area--I live in glorious, traffic-afflicted Springfield (not to mention having the wife and two kids to concern myself with), so making the trek to the UMd screening was a little beyond my capabilities, but since I work at the Watergate, I could at least make one in the city. Of course, anything less than the Uptown would be a disappointment.
