Religion has become an obsession in this country seriously hindering freedom.

Medical science is making breakthroughs everyday which are being stifled by religous groups who subscribe to outdated notions of morality and collective responsibility.

Anything that mocks christianity weakens the hold this religion has on our society, especially the young. Silly notions like sanctity and holiness have been perpetuated by the even more absurd concepts of a "virgin mary" or "forgiveness through a man who was too much of a wimp to save himself on a cross". Kudos makers of Dogma, catholicism's deconstruction is a one block at a time process and as josef stalin said (he's evil but he had great points on religion), "religion cannot be crushed by tanks and planes, it must be presented as absurd to a man's mind and then, only then, will an individual be without guilt for his actions"

While I have not yet seen the movie, most of what I've heard points to it being more faith oriented, with a satirical look at certain Catholic doctrines, not a condemnation meant to destroy the church as we know it.
Then again, I could be wrong and Kevin really is the anti-Christ...
