Sorry, I gotta say that Mallrats kinda stunk. I recently saw the DVD version and after seeing the deleted footage I understand why. So much had to change on the fly that no one could have made a great flick out of that mess. The fact that it was at least funny seems to be an awesome trick seeing as how many problems apparently came up. Also Jeremy London and Claire Fiorantini (sp) Can't act for the life of them and they stink badly in this flick, another beef is Jay and Silent Bob who go from being funny in Clerks to just plain dumb in Mallrats. Granted they were great in Chasing Amy and Dogma but they seemed extranious in Mallrats. That aside Jason Lee was hilarious in Mallrats and I'm glad to see him getting more work. When you compare Mallrats to Chasing Amy and Dogma and even to Clerks, it is far and away inferior.
