"Yup, as I was still in school then, I was able to catch Clerks opening day (before, I’ll wager, most of the fucks here had even heard of Kevin Smith I’ll wager)..."
So are you alluding that you DID know about Kevin SMith before you saw Clerks? That's amazing, considering that was his first movie. I mean, you must have some sort of amazing sixth sense, like seeing into the future, or some shit. Did you see a poster for Clerks and think " Hmm, this must be that movie by Kevin Smith, the filmmaker that CAME TO ME IN A DREAM. Here's the guy that's going to go on and make Two more movies, some comics, and start a comic book store." Because if that IS the case, then why didn't you foresee Dogma and give up on the whole thing? Since you're SUCH A DIE HARD FAN, YOU GIVE A GUY MAJOR SHIT BECAUSE YOU DIDN'T LIKE ONE OF HIS MOVIES. Jesus H. Christ, and you have the nerve to ask for your seven fifty back.
I've got an idea. Here's something. I can't speak for ol' Kevin, but I don't think that you're the kind of fan he wants. Who would want such a fair weather follower that's ready to turn in their official Kevin Smith boxers over one movie? So I've got an idea. You want your $7.50 back? Well, I think you owe Kevin something as well. Let's see, Clerks was about 27 thou, right? Minus $7.50, that's $26, 992.50. We'll forget tax since this is just between us folk. Send him the check, forget you ever saw Clerks, leave here, never look back, and take up following Pokemon or something. No one wants you here.
