Ok, I must admit right now that I'm kind of bummed. I saw Dogma and it was an EXCELLENT movie, I TOTALLY dug it man, but still it completely bummed me out. WHy you ask? Well my first thought when I saw the movie was that Kevin Smith had beaten me to the punch... and now the script for my movie would never be produced since it bore such a remarkable resemblance to Dogma. Sure the stories were different but the elements and the feel was basically the same. Even some of the actors that he had chosen were right on the nose and it left me with the feeling that I had moved too slow. I was totally screwed now. Oh well just means I have to write another good script and hope to produce it before Kevin even gets a hint of the wild idea floating around out there, which will undoubtably hit him at the same time it whacks me upside the head.
Dogma RULES!
