Only my script wasn't at ALL influenced by Dogma. Rather, it was influenced by the Devil and Tom Walker and Big Helium Dog. Odd combination, no?

I wrote a script about a girl who sold her soul to Satan for a recording contract. That was the basic premise. Then I saw Vincent was playing "The Cigarette Fairy," and I said "Fuck, that's cool." So I wrote in "the Angel of Cigarettes." Thereon out it unfolded, and it ended up being about this girl who, if she died, would end up sitting upon God's throne and reverting everything God had created back to His first creation. So two angels are sent to escort her to a place of Absolute Divinity, where she will be GIVEN to God.

Along the way, tho, they're hindered by the Forgotten Divine (Cigarettes, and two more) and a trio of folklore figures (Santa, the Tooth Fairy, and Cupid).

Apparantly, Dogma was too close. So I put it on the shelf for ten years.

As for now? I have something WHOLLY original. And NO ONE'S gonna touch it.
