Actually though, that was the conventional wisdom at the time- I've spoken to people in the industry who were quite taken aback by how quickly DVD slayed laser.
Thanks for the post, BTW. Oh, and I did MALLRATS for the love of it- I didn't get paid a dime, and even my credit ("Producer for View Askew") was left off the packaging. But, what are you gonna do?

When A BETTER PLACE is released on DVD (sometime in spring- I know, I know, but trust me- the delay is for the Skywalker remix, so it'll be worth it), signed copies will be sold through the Stash- and yes, we do open them to sign them (the front cover, not the disc itself).

I haven't heard anything- odd, considering that it's Argento's most popular film. I would imagine that before too long Anchor Bay will snatch up the rights to this one too- and, given that their upcoming Argento's are all 16:9 jobs with 5.1 Dolby Digital remixes, that's fine by me.
