: Kevin,
: I'm an 18 year old freshman at Berea College in KY. i feel my life here is wasting away and that college is simply some absurd pasttime keeping me from the only thing i've ever wanted to accomplish: making movies. therefore i'm leaving college after this semester and do not plan on returning.
Or in other words, you feel that college is keeping you from pursuing your true passion: sitting on your ass. I think you're probably vastly underestimating how difficult it is to make a movie. Stay in college.
i'm basically going to go the Clerks route, working at my old computer job and gathering money like a squirrel gathers nuts awaiting winter. i'm going to save like mad, and when i've reached around $30,000 i'll begin making the movie that's been haunting me for so long (it's about my life on my high school wrestling team.)
The movie that's been haunting you for so long is about high school wrestling? Were you sodomized in the showers or something? Stay in school, bust your ass, learn something.
i feel the two of us have a lot in common (love for hockey, growing up on the comic book scene) and thus i respect your opinion. since you've been down this road before i was wondering if there is any advice you can give me.
I don't love hockey or read comic books, so ignore me.
