You guys are using terms like fallibility and decrees, human words and ideas. Which I don't really think applies to God. I mean it's God. To fully understand the universe and the meaning of life and all that, I don't think our minds can really comprehend (wow, what a butchered sentence).

Even the movie, for obvious reasons, "dumbs down" God for the benefit of the audience, and the point's Kevin was trying to make.

God is God. If somehow you find him infallible, then he'll just change the meaning of the word infallible.

But even I'm digressing more than this thread. For the purposes of the movie, this is an interesting debate.

If people knew that Jay was kissed by god, does that mean he is a holy man, with his own cult, called like "the Snootchie Bootchies" who are going to commit mass suicide and be found wearing nothing but snoogans hats and Nike's?
