That's a way to look at it. That spiritual law was God's law. God said do anything, but eat the fruit. Man messed up, the consequences were God's choice, and God's law carried out.

Therefore Jesus's death was the 'loophole' so-to-speak that God utilized to remain infallible, and yet still show compassion and set his children free. Amen.
