: : i have never met you or even spoke to you, but the comic book industry is at a all time low. and well i have to say your movies are inspiring more and more people to do what they should have been doing this whole time instead of playing fucking nintendo(which rocks!) Reading comics. i work for a low end comic publications company(FLY COMICS) drawing covers as of right now, and can already tell by others feedback(and the local comic store)that your movies, and daredevil, are creating a great ster in the comic book biz......hope to make it up to da big leagues soon maybe ill run into you...hehe. thanks and keep up the good work...

I disagree with your statement about comics being at a all time low. I would say that instead comics are quickly becoming the new breeding ground for films. With the success of Blade and to some extent The Matrix, and with all the hype about Spider-Man and Superman, comics are seeing a rebirth. If there was ever an all-time low it would have to be the Mid-Nineties. After the market was flooded with specialty covers, mulitiple covers, company cross-overs, new companies popping up right and left, the comic buyer got sick real quick and the new buyer said, "fuck this shit." I think the comic industry is regaining its foot-hold. With the likes of Alan Moore, Kurt Busiek, Neil Gaiman, and Kevin Smith redefining comics, I believe we are seeing the new golden age unfold before our eyes.
