Brodie was in the same grade school class with T.S. and T.S. was in college (although they never specified the year). Figure that no mention was made that he was a freshman or that graduation was looming... I'd say maybe junior year (?).
And who knows about Brodie? Maybe he's going to community college and living at home. Maybe he's not in school and he has (gasp) a job.
Or maybe it's just extraneous backstory that isn't really important.
If only Michael Rooker had played Brodie... then maybe we'd know his shoe size.
