As a writer, he's pretty damn impressive (I infinitely loved Rushmore), but as an actor, he ain't so good.....he gives Keanu a run for his money in the 'dumb fuck surfer dude' department, only at least Keanu isn't annoying. Granted he hasn't appeared in the greatest films around (Anaconda, Armageddon, The *shudder* Haunting), but the guy seems to be channelling Alex Winters with every single performance. And unsuccessfully, I might add.

And Sheryl Crow really doesn't do it for me.
