Granted, Owen is terrible when it comes to picking projects. (For some reason, he's resigned himself to be the "funny guy who dies" in big-budget bonanza movies...i.e. Armageddon, Anaconda, The Haunting, etc.) BUT he is a tremendously funny actor with great comic timing. His performance as Dignin in Bottle Rocket is completely hysterical. It's sweet, insane, and truly, truly funny. He's also pretty great in "The Minus Man."
And hey, don't rip on Alex Winter! I love the Bill and Ted flicks and Alex wrote, directed, and starred in one of the funniest movies you could ever rent, FREAKED. Any movie about circus freaks that stars Keanu Reeves as Juan the Dog Boy and Mr. T as the Bearded Lady has to be good.
