I think you used the word ignorant too freely. While I think a few of his comments were just cheap shots towards Kevin and his audience, I agree with some of his thoughts on his filmmaking, which he does make an effort to support (not a huge one, but he seems to know the movies). Sometimes we get all fired up when someone's flames something we're passionate about, that we disregard the fact that as human beings, we are all entitled to our own opinions. I think you should take it up with him personally if you disagree, and not try to get an army of 11,600 smith fans on this message board to join you in commenting on how stupid they thought his post was.
