Okay, I guess QT got pulled into this because in John Pierson's book (Spike, Mike, Slakers, and Dykes) Kevin Smith sounded like he thought Tarantino was dork when he asked Kevin why was wasn't thanked at the end of Clerks like Spike Lee, Jim Jarmuch, etc. for "paving the indy way". Also on the Boogie Nights DVD commentary Paul Thomas Anderson sounded annoyed when he remarked that people had compared him to Tarantino.
