: You have spoken several times about wanting to make a good movie based on the Oliver Queen "Green Arrow" character...
He has? I am a regular reader of this board and keep up pretty well on the news about Kevin, and I'm also a big fan of the Green Arrow series, and I'm not familiar with him ever bringing up such an interest... (Admittedly, I've seen him give vague answers when people ask him if he'd be interested in writing one.)
He's taking over the comic series, starting late this year, and is a fan of the character, but I'm not familiar with him expressing any special interest in a film project.
I do know that he has many times stated that he isn't interested in directing an action film, so his involvement in a Green Arrow film would simply be a screenwriter and his ability to cast would merely be advisory.
: ... and I would like to make a humble suggestion for casting: if you want a muscular but not "Arnie-esque" actor, and intelligent actor who is still blue-collar enough to eat five-alarm chili, a disarmingly charming yet still potentially physically intimidating actor to play Ollie, go for Dennis Quaid.
He's not bad. I can't complain there. I've heard a lot of idea, most of which I don't like at all. This one is definitely ok.
I'm still waiting for someone "perfect", though, and I don't think he's perfect.
