agreed, but let's humour him. i achually gave this some thought. there are some directors out there who are *not* also writers. thus how do they get to make a learning film? do they go to their buddy and get him to write something new so that they can film or so they re-do an established film. I say it's just school so do whatever the hell you want to and have fun. But man, please don't get big and famous one day and re-make 'Rats. I beg you. keep it scolastic.
