*l* geez didn't anyone like the idea?
All the negative post have worthwhile arguements, however I would still have to disagree, creating a set which works, with both the video and quick stop is not that hard to do, and things like the car ride, the funeral etc, can easily be tranlated into 'off stage' stories, or handled in a number of other ways.
In regards to the difficulties of playing a part which has already been made famous by someone else, and acting, thats what acting is about, you take something and you interpret it, and you see what you see in it, most plays are for performance, they are adapted and performed many many times and the parts are played by many many people. That's the beauty of putting on a show, or seeing a show (even if you've seen it before).
Where I come from videos cost a bit mroe than 99c but that's just my bad luck, Sitting and watching a video and seeing a stage show are two very very different things. And I know I would often preffer to go out and see a live performance of a show in a space, rather than watching the recorded pictures of one.
Anywho the feedbacks great. What I really want to know though is if anyone has any clues or information about how to go about aproaching recieving rights espeshially from those of you who have considered the possibility before. I have contacted viewaskew by email, and will follow that up with a written letter of enquirey.
any other ideas or feedback is most welcome.
