: I have to disagree with you. Sure the shows are OK, but they're definitely not what I would expect KS and the VA crew to put their names on. I usually count on them to push the envelope and come up with original ideas, but here I find some generic sitcom jokes and a bunch of repetitious gags that weren't all that funny the first time.

What exactly do you disagree with? My statement that it was okay? Or that I understand ABC's actions?

: I do agree with your point that there is no plot. In the fast paced world of television, you have to drill the plot into the viewer in under a minute or they're gone. Many people are going to zap to another channel after watching five minutes of this pud pulling.

Also, consider this. We're KS fans, as you have said you are, and we didn't like it all that much. It's obviously not just because it doesn't live up to the movie, it goes beyond that, it doesn't live up to stupid TV. Also, might I state I'm 16? I like crap like Family Guy. It's not inspired, but occasionally laugh out loud funny, something Clerks doesn't even have.

: As for your observations on the criticism on this board, I have to say you're right on the money. I admit to falling into the first catefory of non sequitir insults, but after reading your post I felt like taking the time to respond. Your second category interests me further because I too have noticed how sycophantic and lemming-like some of these posters seem to be. I am a huge KS fan but I know a bad show when I see it. The last thing I would want to do is have KS believe his own hype.

Yeah, Kevin and his fans tend to work each other up over nothing, doing more harm than good.

: Deep down in my heart I believe that KS truly knows this show is bad, and is just keeping up a strong front for his fans and his employees. I just wish he hadn't put his name on it.

I remember during that interview with Howard Stern the other day, Kevin was promoting his show, saying how great it is, and how ABC is treating him like dirt. All of a sudden, Stern asks him "Is it possible that it's because it sucks?" And Kevin's response is, "Yeah, definitely, it could suck." or something like that. Maybe he knew.

: Just my cents.... 3vNVmLj5
