A few years ago the Monty Python dudes (not officially under the Monty Python aegis, but pretty much all the people involved in the group) made a movie adaptation of The Wind in the Willows. Unfortunately it was pulled from general release because Disney bought the rights to it and the funny British guys refused to let the evil empire with the cute mascot make any money off of it. But the movie did get limited showings at art theaters and such. I'm not sure what ever happened to it. But it's pretty good, not fantastic, but good.

Oh, and Terry Jones played Mr. Toad, and he did, indeed, have a while ride.
