I don't really think it has to do with age per se

...just maturity level. There are teenagers (myself being one) who don't feel the need to call people stupid-heads and act like belligerent fools. I also think that people tend to like Mallrats and Clerks more than CA just because when they think of Kevin they associate him with comedy. I enjoy CA on a different level, more as a drama than as a comedy. So in trying to say which movies I prefer, it's hard to say. I usually watch Kevin's movies when I'm in the mood for a light-hearted comedy. This sort of leaves CA out of the category. At the same time, I think that CA is a better drama than most of the ones I've seen.

I also think that there are those who didn't like CA because they weren't mature enough when they watched it, and didn't appreciate it's content. I could probably be accused of that, me being about 12 when I first saw CA. I was amazed a couple years later at how much I didn't understand when I first saw it.

In conclusion, I just think there are the type of people who, no matter what age they are, will always act silly and make comments that you could attribute to a school bully. I don't know if they think they're cool for saying things like "well...you suck!!!" but at these people I point and laugh.
