There's not enough of a VHS collector's market to make bonuses profitable for anything other than the biggest hits and biggest media frenzied flicks... Jaws, for example, is one of the few films getting a release deemed big enough to include substancial video extras.
Back in the laserdisc-still-viable years, Kevin said he had no problem with a person dubbing the extras off an LD as long as they were discreet and didn't profit off it... but I don't know if that's still his stance.
