: Seeing as how FF is still being considered as a movie option and common comic book knowledge is that the Fantastic Four and the X-Men are homies on some level or another, it wouldn't surprise me if that was Johnny Storm.
I have to agree with THX here and say that this was Pyro. It makes the most sense in this instance. Pyro has to use an igniter to use his powers (or at least a spark or heated energy projection of some sort), whereas Johnny just "Flames on". Also, even though Johnny Storm has displayed some control over his flaming abilities lately in the comics like the John in the movie, it is unlikely that he would have developed such a talent so early on. Johnny Storm is a hothead and his power reflects that -- it's often very combustible and unpredictable. Besides, Pyro always liked throwing fireballs around, and this little one suits him perfectly. Lastly, as mentioned before, Johnny Storm is NOT a mutant, and wouldn't be at Xavier's school... he'd be hanging around the Baxter Building with Reed, Sue and Ben Grimm.
As for the comment earlier of Johnny not being a teenager when he went up with Reed, Sue and Ben: Johnny WAS a teen when he went into space and got zapped by cosmic rays.
Just my two cents.
