: and how did anyone get into whether or not Jesus was black? Does it matter?

Because that's one of the things the film had to 'say'...sorta.

: There should've been some big bang at the end like ..for example ..some
: big bearded guy hurling thunderbolts..I wouldn't even care
: if he was wearing a tutu and doing headstand..so long as he
: he had abeard and the thunderbolts..actually it wouldn't even have to be : a man!

So you have a preconceived notion of what god would look like and how god would act and since Kevin's portrayal didn't match it, the film has no value in your opinion...that's not very fair, is it?

And Bartleby's head exploding wasn't enough of a 'bang' for you? That seems more impressive than lightning bolt...you can see lightning bolts during any thunderstorm...exploding heads? Not so much.

: What a compelling and unique movie..if someone is compelled by
: dung demons and allanis in a tutu to re-think their ideas about life, : then man..I just don't know what to tell you.

Dung demons and Alanis as god were, what? 15-20 minutes of the film? The discussions about it not being what you believe, but that you believe didn't have any impact? The discussions about people getting bogged down in the details and missing the big picture? The storyline involving the commercialization of religion? The portrayal of a woman struggling with and resolving the issues she's had with her faith?

Sounds like you're focusing on a few things that you disliked rather than actually thinking about what the film was saying.
