I wasnt expecting dogma to be released on video for my birthday but to my suprise it was released the week before its official release date so I had the joy of having a copy of dogma to watch on my birthday. Not only this but the venture into a video store i had never been to also made available a copy of Tail Lights Fade. A video id never thought would be released over here. It looked like it could have been some sort of well made pirate. I was a bit disappointed with it all the same as it really didnt make me give a fuck about the characters. Bad casting if you ask me, that Busy dude and the shrimp from GO are annoying. The only saving grace was Jay in the very final scene though he didnt even talk. And whats with the plastic marijuana plantation. Authentic props please.
I think Dogma should have had one of those INTERMISSION signs in it. I remember watching Clerks which i beleived ran less then 90 minutes. You wouldnt call a ninety minute film long but Clerks still seemed 20 minutes too long. Dogma felt way way too long to watch in one sitting.
