In the collector's community, the term "sequentially numbered," while sounding pretty silly, actually is important. There are two kinds of numbering (if any) on any limited item. There is standard numbering, where every item in the run would read "1 of 2500" and sequential numbering, where every item would have a specific number, for example: "0037 of 2500." See the difference? I agree, the term "sequentially numbered" sounds goofy at first, but there's a reason for it.
