Okay, so I've visited the board before, I used to frequent it but have been away for quite a while (too long to mention). So today I was reading through past posts and thought of lots of things I wanted to say. SO this is my first post and I'm a little nervous.

First of all, I thought that Claire Forlani was fantastic in Mallrats and agree wholeheartedly with Kevin about Meet Joe Black (very underappreciate movie). I also think that she would have been a fantastic addition to Dogma. I am assuming that she would have played the role that Linda Fiorentino (sorry if I butchered the last names) played and I almost think that it's a shame she wasn't cast instead. I don't like to bad mouth people but upon my second viewing of the film I was monumentally unimpressed with Linda's performance.

Secondly...I undersand Kevin's wish to not drown in "Can I be in your next movie" posts, but what about other jobs at View Askew, did you guys ever consider having a jobs section on the site for other types of jobs? I do remember when you put out the word for Dogma extras and I thought that was really cool.

Also I ran across the post about the poor mans copyright technique and I am wondering if anyone knows exactly what one should do to make this leaglly binding. I've heard that there are certain rules about how it has to be packaged so that it's impossible you could have tampered with it and that kind of thing.

Along those lines I thought I'd ask, just for the hell of it if any one out there knows of a good way to get an unsoilicited script read, or a good way to turn it into a solicited script. I've got the youth factor working in my favor, but even with that hook...who knows.
