First off, I'd just like to say the Jason Lee is one of my favorite
actors. He's right up there w/ Christopher Walken, in my book. But, I was
watching Fletch Lives the other day (funny movie), and I had to ask myself:
Could Jason Lee pull it off?
Even though it has been made abundantly clear that Fletch Won is in no
way connected to the Chevy Chase movies, one WOULD assume that Fletch's
over-all demeanor, delivery, attitude, what have you, would remain the

they were both...shall we say..."stressed-out", for lack of a better phrase
and even slightly obnoxious, but in a wonderful way, in oppose to the
Fletch character's layed-back, calm, "I'm-on-top-of-it" attitude.
What I guess I am asking here is this: If Jason is cast as Fletch,
would he bring the Banky/Brodie personality to the role, or would he try to
play a more relaxed, easy-going character, and if so, how well could
