Now, I'm no fan of MAGNOLIA as a complete work- I think it has moments of greatness but is undermined by being way too indulgent and unfocused and having an equal number of shite moments as it has great ones- but how can you dismiss HARD EIGHT and BOOGIE NIGHTS and yes, a good portion of MAGNOLIA, as being just "crap"?

Just because Kevin didn't like MAGNOLIA doesn't mean that he hates P.T. Anderson or his other films. Anderson is obviously a tremendously talented artist, regardless of what one thinks of MAGNOLIA overall.
