I was messing with a DVD player at Cambridge Soundworks the other day with this option. It also had a zoom in/out option. My friend who worked there zoomed the picture out far enough that it had black bars on the right and left as well as the top and bottom.
So, my question be this: Do you have a zoom option?

Not sure if it had something to do with the HDTV he was using, though.
