: I watched Mallrats, Chasing Amy, and Dogma this weekend and I'm a little lost on what year Dogma takes place in. I heard somewhere that the banner at the church says 1998, but I was told it's supposed to be in 1996, and I have no clue as to when Chasing Amy was released. Pretty reasonable logical seeing as I starting watch these movies in 1998 at which time I was like, 13. I know it's a stupid fucking question but I'm curious and too tired to go check for my self.
